I really did not think too much about how I was going to live when I got here. It was a real chore for me to get into this school and I just barely managed to convince them to let me. I was thinking that I might be able to stay with one of my cousins for a little while, but he was not interested in that kind of deal. It was not that close to the campus either and it turns out that this is really important. I have to look at apartments near Emory University because of the traffic and the difficulty of finding a place to park once you reach the campus. In fact a car is not really that useful for me except when I am going home to Roswell for the weekends. If I am going to class the car I have is more a hindrance than a vehicle. You fight the traffic going to campus and then you spend 15 or 20 minutes looking for a place to park. Usually the place that you find is not anywhere near where you are going. So the best thing is to get a place close to the campus and on the bus routes. That way you walk down to where the bus stops and it takes you right where you are going. You do not have to think about anything else, you just get off the bus and walk into the building where you are going to class in. I would like to be able to ride my bike to class. At least that would be great so long as the weather was not bad. A lot of bikes apparently disappear around here. I was talking to this one guy who said he had lost three bikes.
